Breaking a narcissist’s heart is completely different than breaking a normal person’s heart.

A narcissist is influenced by other things, and in order to break his heart, you must first understand how the narcissist’s mind works and how his brain works.

A narcissist doesn’t care about love and closeness. He cares about power and control. A threat to his power or control will break his heart.

To break a narcissist’s heart, you must first accept yourself. The narcissist wants to devalue you, embarrass you, humiliate you, and ridicule you. He wants to take you to the ground floor, to the very bottom, underground. The narcissist wants you to feel bad about yourself, so he will insult you, you will hear ambiguous compliments, the narcissist will be in opposition to you, he will question what you say, he will have the opposite opinion, and at the same time he will criticize your opinion.

And eventually you will start to doubt yourself, you will start to doubt your opinions and beliefs, and you will even start to doubt your own thoughts, you will start to think that there is something wrong with you, you will start to think that you are unlovable and that you do not deserve love.
