They express how much they hate and dislike cheating and lying, hinting that they are precisely the opposite of what they claim to be. This creates a perception of them being the victim and you being the saviour, making you believe they are very loyal and would never cheat. They brainwash you, manipulating you for the cheating they plan to do later. They prepare you to believe they would never commit such a sin, so when you find proof, they can easily deny it, claiming you are making things up or cheating on them and projecting your actions…
