Home is often considered a sanctuary, a place of comfort and solace. However, for individuals with narcissistic tendencies, the concept of home may not hold the same allure. In this topic, we delve into the psychological intricacies that drive narcissists away from the familiar confines of their dwellings.
Needless to say, narcissists are purely driven by sensations; how they feel decides what they do next. For example, if something makes them feel powerful and in control and gives them a deep sense of high they don’t feel normally, they’ll be attracted to it, inclined towards doing it more or having more of it.
One such thing is being out there in the world. Many do not want to be at home; they are in a state of “go, go, go” all the time. They just want to go out because, one, it distracts them from themselves; they can’t be with themselves. Two, out there lies a massive source of supply, embracing them and giving them the fuel they need to survive and live.
