THE GRAND ENDORSEMENT OF MAJOR DEKHOW AS ABUDUWAQ FLAG BEARER FOR GARISSA TOWNSHIP MP 5.01.2023

Attended the endorsement ceremony of the UDA candidate Rtd Maj Dekow Haji Mohamed at Lantern hotel.

In the high table notable figures included the CS for defence Hon Aden Duale whose presence meant handing over the mantle to the UDA candidate.

Dr Abdullahi Gabane who in the August elections contested for Garissa township and bagged 5552 votes also ditched Azimio party and threw his weight behind the UDA candidate.

Former members of parliament including Hon Hussein Maalim, Hon Aden Sugow, Hon Elias Barre shill and Hon Ibrahim Mohamed Salat declared to back the UDA candidate.

The 7 lieutenants of Sultan Dekow Maalim(Abduwaq Sultan) also declared their support despite a resistance from the Sultan who had a different opinion on the process.
I see a political strength here as we wait to see a diffrence from the other Garissa township parlimentary aspirants.
