A noble narcissist is not your ordinary covert narcissist. This type of narcissism is far more difficult to recognize and more dangerous to deal with. Why? Well, they are sociopathic and cunning by nature but moral in approach and attitude. What does that mean? It means that this type of narcissist will not react to your boundaries the way other narcissists do. When you say “no,” what do you get back from a narcissist? If they are covert narcissist, they will become passive-aggressive or give you the silent treatment. But when you’re dealing with a noble narcissist, they will act differently. Essentially, it’s hidden narcissism on steroids— as bad as it gets. This type of narcissist exhibits every aspect of the dark personality: sadism, narcissism, psychopathy, and Machiavellianism. They will give you all the space to breathe only to suffocate you later.
The scary thing is that every red flag you know about narcissism does not match their personality.
