*What does a narcissist tell you when they are done with you*

● The Silent Treatment: Once a narcissist is done with you, they employ the silent treatment, rendering you invisible and insignificant in their eyes. They ignore your attempts at communication, aiming to exert control and devalue your presence. By enforcing their perceived superiority, they leave no room for reconciliation or future connection. This tactic can make you feel ignored and insignificant, exactly as narcissists want you to feel before ultimately leaving you behind. It's a definitive sign that they have cut all ties and have no intentions of resuming any relationship with you.
● Dismissive Attitude: Another sign that a narcissist is % done with you is their dismissive attitude. You might have initially known them as a caring, patient, and loving person, but that persona fades away once their show is over. Narcissists indulge in relationships for their own entertainment, and once they've had their fill, they'll discard you without hesitation. They reveal their true identity with a dismissive and uncaring demeanor.
● Lack of Interest: When narcissists are done with you forever, you'll notice a decline in their interest in your life. They become disengaged and disinterested in your accomplishments, problems, or aspirations. Conversations become one-sided, revolving only around their needs and desires. They have no intention of nurturing the relationship, even with the hope of their charms and pretense. While it might be tempting to cling to the relationship, remember that protecting yourself should be your priority.
● Lack of Empathy: Narcissists typically lack empathy, but this absence becomes even more apparent when they are done with you. They show no compassion or understanding towards your struggles, pain, or challenges. They no longer care to connect with your emotions or experiences. Instead, their focus entirely shifts to their self-interest, using their belief in superiority to justify their actions and abandonment towards you. Remember, you don't need to delude yourself like they do to please or beg them to stay.
● No Closure or Explanation: When a narcissist is finished with you, they provide no closure or explanation for their actions. They vanish from your life without a trace, leaving you confused and hurt, struggling to make sense of their sudden abandonment. This lack of closure is a powerful tool for the narcissist, denying you the opportunity to understand or find resolution. They are satisfied knowing they've hurt you, and rather than engage in open communication, they prefer to disappear. It leaves you searching for answers, amplifying your sense of abandonment.
● Remember, the journey to recovery begins with reclaiming your self-worth and establishing healthier, more fulfilling relationships in the future.
