WHAT NARCISSIST ARE REALLY AFRAID OF IN STRONG PEOPLE

Want to know what narcissists are truly afraid of when dealing with genuinely strong people? That’s exactly what I’ll cover today. Let’s get started!

So, let’s dive into it: What are narcissists really afraid of when dealing with genuinely strong people?

1. Fear of Inferiority

First and foremost, narcissists fear inferiority. That’s right—the fear that you might be better than they are. This isn’t because you think you’re better, but because deep down, they think, know, or fear that you might be. Despite outward appearances, narcissists often struggle with deep-seated feelings of inadequacy and inferiority.

Being as competitive as they are, when they encounter a genuinely strong, competent, and empowered person, their fear is that they won’t measure up, can’t keep up, or can’t compete. They worry that you might outshine them or be perceived as superior. This is a major source of their bizarre need to diminish you, knock you down a peg or two, and undermine you in any way they can.

Narcissists feel threatened by your energy, light, genuine love, courage, and, of course, your strength. Any success you’ve created for yourself also threatens their false sense of superiority—because that superiority is just that: false.
